Job Description Non-Medical Transportation DriverNMT Driver - 1st shift -Split Shift - no CDL requiredThe Epilepsy Center of Northwest Ohio is a mission-driven organization dedicated to empowering individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities. We are seeking a compassionate, reliable Non-Medical Transportation Driver to join our team to safely transport individuals to and from their daily programs, appointments, employment and activities.Pay: $17.00 per hourLocations: Lucas and Wood CountySplit - Schedules: 7 AM - 9:30 AM and 2:30 PM - 5 PMAnticipated Hours: 20 - 25 hours a weekResponsibilities include assisting individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities with safe and reliable transportation:Safely transport clients to/from home, adult day services, appointments, and work sitesSupervise clients during transport and ensure safe loading/unloadingMaintain clean, sanitary vehicle and complete daily inspectionsMaintain transportation records and communicate with staff and team leadersFollow all Ohio DODD, county board, and transportation regulations, including mandated reportingQualifications you need to thrive in this role if you are:High School Diploma or equivalentMust be at least 21 years of ageValid driver's licenseClean and Safe driving record (no more than six points on license)Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition individuals weighing up to 50 poundsAbility to pass BCI/FBI background checks, physical exam, drug screenCPR/First Aid certification (post-employment)No CDL requiredPerks & Benefits that are offered:Paid time offAttendance bonus401(k) with matchingLife & disability insurancesCar repair fundCar rentalPay advancesLocal Employee Resource Network (Employee assistance program)Referral bonus up to $500 per referralAbout The Epilepsy Center of NW Ohio:The Epilepsy Center of Northwest Ohio is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of individuals and families affected by epilepsy and developmental disabilities.
