Job DetailsDescriptionResponsibilities/Requirements:Assist various orthopaedic physicians under direction of Clinical CoordinatorProvide coverage for clinical teams as needed Perform general nursing duties in a busy orthopedic practiceEscribe/call in medicationsDraw up injections and prepare patients in sterile fashionAssist other team providers as neededSchedule test, imaging, labs as neededObtain any necessary insurance authorizations for procedures or testsLocate any necessary test results, and/or reportsAssist with filling out forms as needed for return to work etc.Prepare for next clinic by printing notes and checking for needed test resultsPrepare exam rooms, restock supplies for clinic, power up computers, etc.Schedule depositions and meetings as neededAssist other team members as neededObtain signature on miscellaneous forms as neededTravel to satellite locations as requiredFriendly and Professional patient communication while:Answering and returning patient phone callsProcedure educationEscorting patients to and from exam roomsAppointment reminder calls as neededResponding to and chart patient messagesCommunicating test results to patientsMust Also PossessHS Diploma/GED required ROT or CCMA certification required by first 90 days of employment Orthopedic experience is a plusAbility to communicate effectively with patients, TOC physicians and staffAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlines in very busy clinical settingOutstanding organizational, verbal and writing skillsIndependent and highly motivatedExhibit initiative and self-disciplineProven positive, “teamwork” attitude and work historyPhysical DemandsMust be able to use arms, hands, and fingers skillfullyConstant standing and walking for long periods of timeMust be agile and able to work efficiently in space limited areasConsistently work at a productive paceMust readily adapt to frequent treatment schedule changesTo apply please visit: https://www.visittoc.com/about-us/careers/
