Position: Software Engineer (Maximo)Location: Chattanooga, TN (REMOTE)Summary:Looking for an experienced Maximo specialist with advanced expertise in enterprise work management, integrations, financial configuration, and system reliability across complex multi‑environment Maximo landscapesProven ability to diagnose and resolve challenging functional and technical issues, including GL account validation errors, workflow logic defects, data integrity problems, and cross‑system integration failuresSkilled in supporting Maximo’s end‑to‑end ecosystem —Work Management, Nuclear, and Supply Chain—while maintaining stability through structured change, incident, and release processesHighly proficient in Maximo asset and work order lifecycle management, MBO structures, data relationships, interface tables, and automation frameworksHands‑on experience with Maximo Enterprise Services, Publish Channels, ActiveMQ, MuleSoft gateways, and custom Java or automation‑script‑based enhancementsAdept at troubleshooting integration flows between Maximo and S/4 (IDOCs, APIs) and supporting mobile solutions, such as Maximo Mobile Work Order, Work Approvals, Condition Reporting, and Asset ManagerStrong cross‑functional collaborator with experience leading deployments, patching cycles, environment outages, and release planningWell‑versed in coordinating enhancements, supporting on‑call operations, validating changes across DEV/ACCP/PROD environments, and ensuring controlled, high‑quality releasesEffective mentor and knowledge‑transfer lead, partnering with business stakeholders to align requirements, streamline processes, and ensure operational readinessThis position is Remote with occasional travel to Chattanooga, TNResponsibilities:Serves as the Company’s recognized technical expert for one or more of its major software applications or systemsCollaborates with business partners to understand business needs and identify potential technical solutionsDesigns, creates, and maintains software by analyzing, testing, assessing, and implementing programming applications based on business priorities and guidance from managementProvides technical expertise and guidance to project teams and software engineers, demonstrating significant creativity and flexibilityProvides guidance to teams and individual software engineers for build and release managementDevelops features across multiple subsystems within the portfolio, including collaboration in requirements definition, prototyping, design, coding, testing, and deploymentAssists teams with quickly and reliably debugging and solving the most complicated system issuesDemonstrates expert proficiency in fundamental and advanced application development conceptsDemonstrates expertise in algorithm analysis and performance tuning.
