A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.Opportunity:\nRN - PCU\n\nJob Details:\n• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required; first-time travelers accepted\n• Patient population: Adults to Geriatrics\n• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH\n• Patient ratios: 1:4-5 PCU; 1:5-6 MS, MS Tele\n• Float position required to all MS, MS/Tele, PCU units within the hospital\n• Epic charting system experience required, plus Pyxis and SBAR\n• Scrub color: Navy Blue\n• Weekend coverage: Every other weekend (average 6 weekends in a 13-week contract)\n• Maximum 7 days RTO per contract\n• No call requirements\n• Holiday coverage: Work one holiday if one falls during assignment; work both if two fall during assignment; work two of three if three fall during assignment\n• 24 hours of orientation\n• Care for patients with all potential MS, MS Tele, and PCU diagnoses\n• Skills include arterial line management, BiPAP/CPAP, blood product administration, cardiac telemetry, central line care, chest tubes, feeding tube care, and various cardiac and vasoactive drip management\n• Full compliance required to start on time with 2-week pushback if not compliant due to bi-weekly orientation schedule\n• Georgia or Compact license required at time of submission\n\nFacility:\nThis healthcare facility features a comprehensive progressive care environment with 5 MS/MS Tele departments, 1 Cardiac Telemetry department, 1 Neuro intermediate unit, and 2 PCU units.
