Mat Service -Trainee

Plymate's Service Division- Route Service Representative (in training)-Greater Central Indiana The Role:Plymate's Mat Service Trainee works alongside tenured service representatives to learn how to successfully run a route. This training period allows the representative the opportunity to learn every aspect of running a successful route at Plymate. This includes loading and unloading the truck, safe operation of the truck, adapting and navigating varying customer environments both safely and professionally. Additionally, you will learn about all of the products Plymate offers through both rental and lease programs, pricing, inventory management and how to identify route growth opportunities and renew contracts.Deliver product to customers throughout the route day, ensuring accurate delivery and pricingFocus on route growth opportunitiesBuilding positive relationships with customer baseAddressing customer needs and concernsTracking contract renewal opportunitiesEssential to your successEfficiently running the route on a daily basisProviding top notch customer service to customers, while building relationshipsIdentifying route growth opportunities.Minimum RequirementsPrior customer service experience in a business environment-preferredAbility to discuss billing, inventory, customer service- related issues as well as present contract renewal opportunitiesAbility to drive a box truckAbility to pass an MVR and criminal background checkAbility to obtain and maintain a Department of Transportation physicalAbility to obtain and maintain a For-Hire (chauffer's) license endorsementAge 21 or olderPayThe Service Representative role at Plymate offers a strong compensation plan including a competitive base.First year base salary of $48,100 per year. Commission and bonus opportunities are added to your base once you transition into your own established route. Plymate provides a cell phone (once you have your own route), uniforms, including steel toe shoe allowance, 4-day work week, paid time off, 401k match as well as health, dental, and vision plans.
