Supply Chain Planner

Job Description Summary:The Planner is responsible for supply planning, managing inventory levels, and coordinating supply to ensure product availability while minimizing excess stock and operational disruptions. This role works closely with Sales, procurement, logistics, and warehouse teams to maintain and improve inventory flow and support business objectives.Essential Responsibilities:• Analyze historical sales data and trends • Works closely with Sales on sales/demand forecast • Convert sales/demand forecast into supply plan • Develop and maintain inventory plans to support customer demand • Monitor inventory levels, stock coverage, and reorder points • Coordinate with purchasing and/or suppliers to ensure timely replenishment. • Collaborate with sales to incorporate promotions and seasonal demand • Identify potential shortages or overstock situations and recommend corrective actions • Communicate supply risks and mitigation plans to management. • Work closely with sales/customer service to balance needs and adjust orders.Qualifications/Requirements • High diploma or equivalent • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills • Excellent analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills • Attention to details and ability to manage multiple priorities • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite • 5 – 10 years of experience in a related role preferredAdditional desired characteristics • Associates degree in Business, Management or related field.
