Defense - Methods Process Analyst

OverviewThis role is at Spirit AeroSystems, Inc. a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company, supporting Spirit’s Commercial Business Units (“Spirit Commercial”). Spirit Commercial designs and builds commercial aerostructures, including for Boeing Commercial Airplanes, one of Boeing’s three business units and the premier manufacturer of commercial jetliners for decades. Spirit Commercial’s core products include fuselages, pylons, nacelles and wing components, with a focus on innovative composite and aluminum manufacturing solutions.ResponsibilitiesPosition Responsibilities:Determines the labor and machine resources required to accomplish production tasksUses time standards to establish, measure, monitor, and adjust the resource capacity limits or levels necessary to execute the production planDevelops and uses time standardsReports on capacity constraints that may hinder completion of the production planand provides methodologies to overcome those constraintsPerforms detail shop scheduling and reporting to ensure production deliverables are completed to support downstream customersQualificationsBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):2-5 years of relevant experienceCandidates must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Security ClearanceSuccessful candidates must be able to secure Program Access approvalHigh School Diploma or GEDPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)Mid-Level (Level 3): 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience Bachelor's DegreeFamiliarity with Lean principles such as Value Stream Mapping, Just-In-Time, Demand Flow, Single Piece Flow, Five S’s, Visual Management, Total Productive Maintenance, Continuous Improvement Process, Kaizen, SPC, Six Sigma and Communication Tools, Statistical Problem Solving, ISO, AS-91000, ISO-14001 or similarHigh energy, dynamic personality with an ability to effect changeAble to interface comfortably with all levels of managementAircraft Experience MS Office SkillsData analytical abilitiesProblem solving / decision making skillsPrevious experience with Project ManagementCommunication Skills (both verbal and written)UnionThis is a union-represented position.Drug Free WorkplaceWe are a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Pay & BenefitsWe strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
