Follows and teaches using service plans, teaching/performing daily living, leisure skill and planning community involvement activitiesKey ResponsibilitiesProvide personalized, high-quality care for elderly clients in supportive living and day programsFollow individualized service plans, teaching and assisting with daily living activities, leisure skills, and community engagementAdhere to HIPAA standards to ensure client confidentialityPerform facility cleaning, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and laundryPlan and prepare well-balanced meals/snacks according to dietary requirementsAssist with personal hygiene, including showering, changing adult briefs, brushing teeth, shaving, and dressing assistanceQualificationsA combination of education, training, and/or experience equivalent to a high school diploma or GEDAbility to pass a pre-employment physical at the time of hireCompletion of Copa’s training program per the requirements of funding sources, such as the Division of Developmental Disabilities and/or Department of Health ServicesAbility to obtain and maintain a Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card and pass other required background checks, including a drug screenMust have a valid Arizona Driver’s License upon hire, 39-month Motor Vehicle Record, and proof of insurance and vehicle registrationBilingual (English/Spanish) skills preferredCopa Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer – All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristics protected by law.
