The Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation District (THPRD) is now accepting applications for. This is a great opportunity to build leadership skills while working outdoors in a fun, dynamic environment.The Rec Mobile program delivers free athletic, artistic, and educational activities at local schools, parks, and housing complexes. Rec Mobile also offers summer camp during the summer break. Our two brightly decorated vehicles are equipped with sports gear, arts and crafts supplies, and more.Hours:Schedules vary week to week based on programming needs. The current spring schedule is Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 2:00-6:00 p.m., plus occasional weekend events (hours vary).Requirements:At least one year of relevant experienceMinimum age: 18Valid driver's license (required for driving responsibilities)Enjoy working with childrenAble to work outdoors in all weather conditionsThis posting may be used to fill multiple positions within the same classification that share the same duties and qualifications. Changing between part-time year-round and part-time seasonal roles requires a 13-week break in service. Responsibilities:Assisting in developing, coordinating, instructing, and supervising services for assigned program area.Perform set-ups for program activity area and ensure classroom and/or activity area is safe for use.Providing a program/class atmosphere that promotes and encourages inclusion and satisfaction of all participants.Ensure the safety of program participants and if necessary, provide basic first aid.Pay Rate Range: $20.15-$21.41The hiring range for this position is $20.15 to $21.41 per hour, based on experience and internal equity. The full hourly range for this job classification is $20.15 to $22.71.
