About the OpportunityJETSET Pilates San Ramon is seeking a Studio Manager to lead pre-sale, oversee studio operations, and drive membership growth ahead of our Fall 2026 opening.The Studio Manager will be responsible for building foundational membership during construction, leading community outreach, hiring and developing the team, and owning the studio’s financial performance.This is not a passive management role. It is a hands-on leadership position that requires strong sales ability, marketing initiative, operational discipline, and community presence.Key ResponsibilitiesPre-Sale & Membership GrowthLead and execute pre-sale strategy to build foundational membership prior to openingCapture, nurture, and close incoming leadsDevelop partnerships with local wellness, retail, and community organizationsOrganize and execute community outreach events and on-the-mat pop-upsAchieve membership, revenue, and utilization targetsTrack and analyze KPIs including sales conversion, retention, and revenueLeadership & Team ManagementRecruit, hire, and onboard instructors and studio team membersBuild a positive, high-accountability team cultureProvide coaching, feedback, and performance managementEnsure staff understands expectations around service, energy, and professionalismLead by example in work ethic, urgency, and ownershipOperational ExcellenceOversee daily studio operations including scheduling, payroll, reporting, and inventoryMaintain brand standards and studio presentation at all timesBe present during peak class times to provide leadership and supportManage expenses and operate within budgetEnsure consistent communication regarding performance metricsTeaching & Studio SupportComplete JETSET instructor trainingTeach approximately 8 classes per week (or as needed)Be capable of stepping in to cover classes when necessaryMaintain understanding of programming and instructor performance standardsKey Skills & AbilitiesSales Leadership: Proven ability to drive revenue and close membershipsCommunity Builder: Comfortable representing the brand and building local relationshipsBusiness Acumen: Strong understanding of KPIs and financial accountabilityOperational Discipline: Organized, systems-oriented, and detail-drivenSelf-Starter: Thrives in a startup-style environmentQualifications2+ years of management experience (boutique fitness, hospitality, or service-based business preferred)Proven success in membership sales or revenue-driven rolesExperience with pre-sale or new studio openings strongly preferredWillingness to work evenings, weekends, and extended hours during pre-opening phaseCPR/AED certification required (or willingness to obtain)Desired TraitsCompetitive and performance-drivenStrong communicator with leadership presenceHigh energy and hands-on mindsetComfortable taking ownership of resultsGrowth-oriented and interested in long-term opportunityCompensation & BenefitsSalary: $70,000 – $80,000 annually (based on experience)Bonus: Performance-based incentive structure tied to revenue and membership growthHours: 40 hours per week (extended during pre-sale and launch phase)Growth Opportunity: Potential for expanded leadership as additional locations openWhat Success Looks LikeThe General Manager builds strong foundational membership during pre-sale, establishes meaningful community partnerships, launches the studio with momentum, and drives consistent growth in revenue and utilization while maintaining a premium boutique experience.About JETSET PilatesJETSET Pilates is a modern, music-driven reformer Pilates concept delivering high-energy classes in a curated, luxury studio environment.
