Offers may vary depending on the circumstances of each case.SummaryHybrid position focusing on tracking university capital projects, inventorying facilities infrastructure needs, refreshing and documenting business continuity resiliency plans, coordinating safety compliance and operational efficiencies, and reviewing and drafting guidelines and policies. Incumbent will exemplify the Rush mission, vision, and values and act in accordance with Rush policies and procedures.Required Job Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Higher Education, Public Administration, or related field Minimum of (3) years of experience with project coordination, administrative work, policy development, preferably in higher education Exceptional communication, organizational, and critical-thinking skills Strong project management skills, managing complex, multi-faceted projects resulting in immeasurable successes Strong planning and implementation skills, including problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsPreferred Job Qualifications Master’s degree 3-5 years of project management or administrative experience Performance improvement and data-driven decision-making experienceResponsibilities Develop a strategic approach to streamline all university minor building repair requests Facilitate detailed tracking of university capital projects and facility projects Maintain a schedule of university assets for replacements or upgrades (ie, technology) Oversee university improvement expenditures for all projects Manage university quarterly meetings with cleaning services to proactively address issues Maintain the university’s space allocations to ensure departments are accurately charged Provide key updates for floor plans, space assignment database, and facility services Schedule, attend, and participate in strategic facility meetings as a university representative Document the university’s facility sustainability, compliance, and safety standards Manage the university’s business continuity preparedness plans process and develop KPI’s Facilitate business impact training to identify the university’s vulnerable attributes as it relates to disaster recovery Establish a safety warden program that identifies gaps and opportunities for university improvement Oversee the University’s safety calendar for drills, training, and tabletop exercises Oversee the coordination of campus and university resources during active emergency events Document meetings with university and college stakeholders to identifycurrent and future state processes to prepare status reports Leverage data-driven metrics and reporting tools to monitor university operational performance Lead project management documentation, reports, and communication materials Meet consistently with the university communications team to publish operational updates Organize meetings, create agendas, and document action plans for diverse stakeholders Manage the researching, drafting, and reviewing process for operational policies and guidelines Track progress and determine steps to ensure policy initiatives, key goals, and deadlines are metRush is an equal opportunity employer.
