(BAI) is a multidiscipline engineering firm providing consulting services to public and private sector clients in the Maryland, Virginia, and District of Columbia region.Job SummaryBrudis & Associates, Inc. is seeking a Building Inspector to work full-time supporting construction activities located at BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport and Martin State Airport.Responsibilities And DutiesPerform inspections necessary during the installation of mechanical/plumbing systems to ensure that the systems are installed in accordance with the construction documents and permitsDocument construction of improvements via digital Inspector Daily Reports including photographs, correction items, and deficienciesPerform reviews of mechanical/plumbing construction drawingsOther duties as required by the clientMinimum RequirementsCandidates shall possess a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of five (5) years of experience or a minimum of ten (10) years equivalent experience.Candidates shall possess experience inspecting commercial architectural, structural, and interior finishes.Construction trade experience related to commercial gypsum wall board assemblies, ceilings, insulation, roofing, and miscellaneous metals is a plus.Must have the ability to work in a team environment and must have good oral, written communication, and computer skills.Adherence to Maryland Aviation Administration COVID-related and Security/Safety protocols is required.Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
