Radiologic TechnologistThe Radiologic Technologist performs radiology diagnostic tests safely and effectively as ordered by the physician.ResponsibilitiesPerforms radiology procedures in a manner to comply with state and federal regulationsAssists in maintaining appropriate equipment and supplies in the departmentMaintains documentation of patient testing informationCompletes other comparable duties and assignments as directed by the Radiology ManagerAssists in maintaining a clean and safe work environmentOther duties as assignedRequirementsEducationAssociate's degree in radiologic technology from an accredited school or two (2) years of experience in a directly related areaCertifications/LicensureValid state Radiologic Technologist licenseRegistered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certificationExperienceTwo (2) years of experience in a directly related area preferredTechnical SkillsKnowledgeable in computer systems (e.g. PACS), MS Word, Excel and othersSoft SkillsEffective written and verbal communicationPhysical RequirementsStand or sit for extended periods of timeAble to lift and assist patients as needed for proper positioningBase salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills and relevant experience.
