Head Finance Operations

The OpportunityRelate Search is partnering with a global, privately held manufacturing organization to identify an Operations Finance Leader to oversee manufacturing and supply chain finance across a complex, multi-site footprint. This leader will serve as a close partner to the CFO and operations leadership, driving financial rigor, operational insight, and scalable processes that support growth, efficiency, and performance improvement across manufacturing operations.What You'll Do• Own manufacturing finance, accounting, and controls across multiple facilities, ensuring accurate close, standard costing, inventory governance, and audit readiness. • Act as a strategic business partner to operations and executive leadership, delivering insights on cost, productivity, and capacity utilization. • Build standardized KPIs, reporting, and analytics to drive operational excellence and cost reduction. • Lead manufacturing planning, forecasting, capital analysis, and performance improvement initiatives.What You Bring• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA preferred; MBA a plus. • 10+ years of experience in manufacturing, cost accounting, and finance operations leadership within a global environment. • Proven experience partnering with plant leadership and leading manufacturing finance teams. • Strong analytical, communication, and influencing skills.Leadership Profile• Hands-on, collaborative leader with a continuous improvement mindset. • High integrity, executive presence, and sound judgment. • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, matrixed environment. • Willingness to travel periodically (10–20%).
