Shipping LeadThe Shipping Lead supports the Outbound Traffic Coordinator with prepping outbound loads across multiple facilities. Duties And Essential Job FunctionsAbility to operate inventory warehouse management system effectively, including, but not limited to, creating outbounds, scanning finished goods, and using item locator Ensure all information on ship orders match shipping labels Apply any shipping labels or placards required to finished goods prior to loading Scan finished goods using the correct ship order and outbound Ensure finished goods are safely and efficiently loaded onto trucks Use web-based quality management system to perform quality inspections Ensure accuracy of all shipping documents prior to providing to external truck drivers Operate forklift as needed Comply with company policies, procedures, and safety rules Ability to work a flexible schedule if necessary Attendance is an essential function of the role Other Functions And ResponsibilitiesPerform other duties as assigned. QualificationsMinimum Required High School Diploma or equivalent 6 months transferrable shipping experience Must have good English written and verbal communication skills Good arithmetic skills are required General proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Preferred Bilingual in English and Spanish Ability to operate a forklift
