Compensation: To $167K, plus bonusJob Overview – Manager of SEC Reporting – 34163Our client is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Manager of SEC Reporting to join their Corporate Finance team. Reporting to the Senior Director of Financial Reporting & Consolidations, this role is integral to the preparation and delivery of both internal and external financial reporting for a publicly traded organization.This position offers strong visibility across the finance organization, with regular interaction with senior leadership including the CFO, CAO, and Controller. The role requires deep technical accounting expertise, a strong understanding of SEC reporting requirements, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.The ideal candidate combines technical proficiency with strong project management and communication skills, and thrives in a highly collaborative setting.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the preparation, review, and filing of SEC reports, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, and other required filings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all regulatory requirements Draft and review financial statements, footnotes, and Management's Discussion & Analysis (MD&A); support the preparation of earnings releases and investor-facing materials Support quarterly and annual reporting cycles, including the preparation and review of reporting packages, supporting schedules, and documentation Coordinate cross-functional inputs across Accounting, FP&A, Legal, Tax, Treasury, and Investor Relations to ensure alignment, completeness, and timely delivery of all reporting components Maintain and enhance reporting templates, disclosure checklists, and documentation standards to drive consistency and efficiency Serve as a subject matter expert for SEC reporting tools, including document preparation, data management, and filing submission; identify and implement process improvements Ensure compliance with SEC regulations and U.S. GAAP disclosure requirements, including XBRL tagging and validation; provide guidance on disclosure requirements and non-GAAP measures Partner closely with Technical Accounting to assess and document appropriate accounting treatment and disclosures for complex transactions Support the adoption and implementation of new accounting standards and evolving disclosure requirements Assist with select monthly close activities, including balance sheet reconciliations, analytics, and reporting-related entries Collaborate with Controllership and Consolidations teams to analyze financial results and support executive reporting needs Execute and review key SOX controls related to financial reporting and disclosures; identify opportunities to strengthen the control environment Participate in special projects, including system implementations, process improvements, and strategic initiatives Lead, coach, and develop direct report(s), fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement RequirementsActive CPA license 7+ years of relevant experience in public accounting (Big 4 preferred) and/or public company financial reporting Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting and disclosure requirements Proven experience preparing and/or reviewing Forms 10-K and 10-Q Experience with Workiva or similar SEC reporting tools (preferred) Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting systemsAdditional Job DetailsWorkplace Policy: #li-Hybrid Seniority Level: Mid-Senior Level, ExecutiveLinked In Poster: #LI-TC1About our ProcessWe will notify you if you are selected as a candidate for this role.
