We combine real-time research methodologies with advanced AI-powered tools to deliver insights that drive smarter, faster decision-making at scale.Our mission is to help clients unlock deep human understanding — smarter, faster, and at scale.Main Purpose of the RoleThe Client Development Director (US Market) will be responsible for leading and growing strategic client relationships across the United States, driving revenue growth and ensuring delivery excellence across enterprise and mid-market accounts.This role acts as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, identifying new opportunities, translating business challenges into research solutions, and overseeing end-to-end project delivery. You will also mentor junior team members and support broader business development initiatives.Main Duties And ResponsibilitiesClient Relationship ManagementServe as the primary point of contact for key US client accounts.Develop and grow relationships with existing, new, and prospective clients to expand logos and revenue.Lead client meetings, presentations, and commercial discussions to build long-term partnerships.Strategic Planning & GrowthPartner closely with clients to understand their long-term business objectives and translate them into strategic research initiatives.Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and account expansion.Translate client briefs into actionable research plans and insight-led recommendations.Track performance against revenue and growth targets.Contribute to proposals, RFPs, and commercial strategy.Team LeadershipLead and inspire the Client / Business Development team, working closely with Research, Operations, and Product teams.Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture.Customer Satisfaction & Delivery ExcellenceMonitor client satisfaction through regular touchpoints and feedback.Proactively address issues and ensure consistently high-quality project delivery.Collaborate closely with internal teams to deliver impactful insights and solutions.Contract & Commercial ManagementOversee contract negotiations, renewals, and commercial agreements.Ensure terms are commercially sound and aligned with company objectives.Market & Industry InsightsStay up to date on US market trends, client needs, competitor activity, and industry developments.Share insights internally and externally to position Bolt Insight as a thought leader and strategic partner.Provide market feedback to Product and Strategy teams to support Bolt Insight’s growth.Carry out any other reasonable duties to support the company’s business objectives.Required Experience10+ years of experience in client development, business development, or commercial roles within market research, insights, or analyticsProven track record of driving revenue growth and expanding enterprise and mid-market client accountsStrong experience managing senior client stakeholders (Brand, Marketing, Insights, Strategy leaders)Deep understanding of quantitative and qualitative research methodologies, agile research, and insights commercializationDemonstrated success in consultative selling and translating business challenges into research solutionsExperience leading and mentoring client development or account teams in a fast-growth, technology-enabled environmentStrong collaboration skills across research, product, and operations teamsProficiency with CRM tools, forecasting, and data-driven performance managementWhy Work at Bolt Insight?Work on cutting-edge, AI-powered research solutionsHybrid and flexible working environmentCollaborative, multicultural, and global teamCompetitive compensation and performance-based bonusesOpportunity to grow with a scaling, high-impact companyRegular virtual team events and recognition programsWe are actively building a diverse and inclusive team at Bolt Insight, we welcome applications from all backgrounds and celebrate the different perspectives, ideas and experiences of all people who work with us.
