If you have the ability to handle a diverse caseload, have stellar research and writing skills, can communicate effectively, and use today’s technology well, please start your application today!Compensation:$100,000 yearlyLearn more about the general tasks related to this opportunity below, as well as required skills.Responsibilities:Prepare various legal documents, such as motions, pleadings, briefs, and correspondenceComplete legal research and prepare motions, pleadings, and briefsIdentify client conflicts and determine case strategies with options for resolutionPreside over paralegals, administrative assistants in connection with keeping track of time records, reviewing client billing, setting up client meetings and completing client projects Provide legal counsel to clients by analyzing their needs and determining a proper course of actionHandle all aspects of litigating personal injury cases from initial filing through trial/arbitration or settlementQualifications:Communication, problem-solving, decision-making, interpersonal, and public speaking skills requiredWell-versed in legal research software (Westlaw/Lexis) Jobseekers should be a member of their local bar association - active member preferred Association Work independently while handling a heavy caseloadMinimum 1-2 years’ experience working in a law firm environment2-5 years of experience representing clients in arbitrations and trialsWSBA Membership requiredAbout CompanyWe are a law firm made up of regular people.
