They work with a range of enterprise and government customers and have moved from early-stage prototyping into a scaling, production-focused phase. As part of their continued growth, they are strengthening the software and platform engineering side of the team. Current engineering strength sits heavily on the hardware and systems side, and they now need someone who can own the software platform layer, connecting hardware, sensors, and operator-facing features into a coherent and reliable system. They are now looking for an experienced Robotics Software Engineer to help design and build the software systems that power their robotic platforms in the field.Key Responsibilities:Deploy and integrate platform-level software that connects hardware, sensors, cameras, and operator-facing featuresDesign and own features end-to-end, from requirements and architecture through to field deploymentInterface with cameras, video systems, hardware sensors, robotics middleware, and communication systemsContribute to system design decisions and practical engineering tradeoffs across the platformOperate across the stack as needed, from hardware interfaces up to operational software featuresWork closely with hardware, electrical, and mechanical engineers in a fast-moving, low-process environmentIdeal Profile:3+ years of hands-on robotics experience, whether through ROS, real hardware interfacing, or systems integration in a robotics or autonomous systems settingStrong systems thinking mindset — you naturally ask "I have a robot, an operator, and a feature requirement.
