Hardware Engineer

The Teledyne LeCroy R&D Team is seeking a Hardware/Electrical Engineer with a passion for advanced electronic design and the drive to shape the future of our next‑generation test and measurement platforms. This role offers a rare opportunity to work at the cutting edge of technology—spanning precision analog circuitry, high‑speed analog design, signal integrity, and complex mixed‑signal architectures. As part of our engineering team, you won’t just design hardware: you will influence the entire product lifecycle, from defining technical requirements and architecture, to hands‑on design and validation, all the way through product launch and mass production. You will engage deeply with state‑of‑the‑art technologies, learn continuously, and directly contribute to innovations that steer the technical direction of a globally recognized instrumentation company. This is a high‑impact position where your ideas, expertise, and curiosity will help define the performance envelope of tomorrow’s high‑value measurement instruments.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesDevelop precision, high‑speed, RF analog, and mixed‑signal circuitry for next‑generation probes and oscilloscope acquisition systems.Prepare documentation to support product planning and system architecture.Create schematics and oversee the layout of complex high‑frequency PCBs, including ceramic and organic packages.Design test fixtures and implement automated test routines to validate prototypes.Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams—Marketing, Electrical, Software, Mechanical, and Manufacturing engineers—to transform concepts into market‑ready products.Provide ongoing support and review product modifications throughout their operational lifecycle.Required Education and ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) with 4+ years of electronic design experience, orMaster’s degree in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) with 2+ years electronic design experience.Core Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesStrong logical thinking and rapid learning ability, with a genuine drive to expand knowledge.
