Technical Program Manager – Software DeliveryChesterfield, MO | Hybrid (3 days/week in office) | 10% travel$110,000 – $170,000 annuallyAbout the RoleI'm working a search for a Technical Program Manager to join a software delivery team building control system software for large-scale energy storage systems. This person sits between contracts, program leadership, and engineering execution, making sure what's promised to the customer actually gets built and delivered on time.The software team fields requests from multiple stakeholders, including Product Management, Sales Engineering, and customer-facing project teams. You'll be the one reviewing those requests against project contracts to make sure functionality is ready by commissioning.What You'll DoReview and interpret project-specific contracts, statements of work, and technical agreements tied to control systems softwareEnsure software scope, deliverables, milestones, and acceptance criteria are clear, achievable, and traceable back to contractual requirementsFlag ambiguities, inconsistencies, and risks in contracts or requirements and drive them to resolution with stakeholdersCoordinate with HQ to plan and track agreed-upon workWork cross-functionally with Software and Controls, Engineering, Sales, Product, and Commissioning teams to align on requirements and prioritiesReview software roadmaps, release plans, and delivery forecasts against contracts and milestonesTrack and mitigate risk across software development effortsReport on delivery status, risks, and milestone readinessSupport program reviews, design reviews, and delivery readiness checkpointsField inquiries from customers and internal stakeholdersReport on execution and progress against team KPIsWhat You Need5+ years in a project or program management roleIndustry background in control systems, renewables, power systems, or new product developmentStrong written and verbal communication skillsProven ability to communicate across different parts of an engineering orgSolid organization and time managementA track record of resolving problems and issues without burning bridgesExperience working within an Agile software delivery teamExperience reviewing customer contractsEducationBachelor's degree in engineering required. PMP, ACP, or similar certification a plus.
