The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in a fully classic mainframe environment, focusing on batch-oriented processing.Core RequirementsProficiency in COBOL, DB2, and JCL.Experience with Mainframe batch processing, specifically midnight cycles/end-of-day processing.Strong communication skills are critical due to offshore coordination.Must be a W2 candidate only.Environment SpecificsFully classic mainframe environment.No CICS involvement needed.Covers the full lifecycle of batch-oriented processing.Nice to HaveAgile framework experience.Tools:Jira / HorizonEndevor (code repository)ISPW (nice to have; transitioning toward it)Octane (testing; previously test scripts)Exposure to Copilot for code rewrites/modificationsCandidate ProfileStrong communication skills (critical due to offshore coordination).Calm demeanor and steady personality.Able to collaborate across multiple stakeholders.Positive attitude and team-oriented.Comfortable in daily standups and Agile workflows.Interview ProcessOne video interview.One face-to-face interview (mandatory).
