Overview In this role you will architect and scale Axon’s vendor operations for field programs, turning improvisation into structured execution. You will own the full lifecycle of installation, maintenance and technical services contracts, and build governance that ensures performance. You’ll partner with cross-functional teams to align vendor activity with program goals and drive cost efficiency and risk mitigation. Compensation / BenefitsCompetitive salary and 401k with employer matchDiscretionary paid time offPaid parental leaveMedical, Dental, Vision plansFitness programsEmotional & Mental Wellness support ResponsibilitiesOwn contract lifecycle for installation, maintenance, and technical services suppliers across field technology programs (SOW/MSA, redline coordination, terms, signatures)Build and maintain supplier relationships; serve as primary contact for escalations, capacity planning, and commercial discussionsEstablish vendor governance infrastructure: supplier scorecards, QBR cadence, performance metrics, structured reviewsLead sourcing for field technology services: identify, qualify, onboard vendors, negotiate pricing and terms, enable flexible onboardingDevelop pricing and spend visibility tools: pricing maps, dashboards, cost analyses with financeCollaborate cross-functionally with PSO field operations, legal, finance, engineering, and program leadership to translate needs into sourcing strategyDrive cost reduction and risk mitigation through pricing analysis, negotiations, and multi-vendor risk managementManage multiple vendor programs simultaneously in a fast-paced environment Key requirementsBachelor's degree in supply chain, business, or related discipline3+ years of procurement, commodity management, or category management experienceAbility to build processes and relationships in ambiguous environmentsStrong vendor relationship management and negotiation skillsExcellent cross-functional communication and collaboration with stakeholders at all levelsExperience managing technical services programs (camera deployment, cabling, IT infrastructure, fleet maintenance)Contract literacy with SOWs, warranties, IP clauses, payment terms, risk allocationExperience developing pricing tools or spend dashboards using Excel, Power BI, or similarFamiliarity with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude) for workflow efficiency and documentationDemonstrated ability to manage multiple programs with competing prioritiesCross-functional collaborationInfluence and negotiationStrategic thinkingExcelPower BISOW and contract literacy
