Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Discipline: RN Start Date: 04/27/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - Cath Lab Job Details: • Average daily census of 4 procedures per lab • Patient ratios: 1:4 days, 1:3 nights • Minimum 1 year of experience required with 2 years of recent specialty experience preferred • On-call required including weekends for both facilities • Float required between departments, units and facilities as needed • Guaranteed 3 shifts per 13-week contract • Must have Kansas and Missouri nursing licenses or compact license • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS • Complex PCI experience required • 24-hour orientation period • EPIC charting system experience required • Extensive skills required including diagnostic cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology procedures, cardiac stent placement, IABP placement/removal, interventional catheterizations, pacemaker procedures, and various monitoring and procedural assistance duties • Must complete pre-start modules including EPIC training, infusion pump training, and glucometer training • Two professional references required from past year • Travel experience required • Scrubs provided by facility • Maximum 7 days request time off allowed Facility: This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive cardiac catheterization laboratory providing advanced cardiovascular interventional services.
