A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available Opportunity: Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech CVOR Job Details: • Work either five 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM or four 10-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM • 40 hours per week for 13-week assignment • Call coverage required including weekdays, weekends, and holidays (typically less than 10 shifts per month) • Weekend call coverage from 3:00 PM Friday through Monday at 6:30 AM • Weekday call coverage Monday through Thursday - one shift if on weekend call, two shifts if not on weekend call • Must be proficient in Coronary Artery Bypass Graft and Valve Replacement procedures • Must have open heart and vascular experience • Must be versed in cardiac, thoracic, and vascular procedures • CST certification or military training required • BLS certification required • EPIC charting system experience preferred • Driver's license required at submittal • Must comply with facility fingernail policy - artificial nails prohibited • Must reside more than 50 miles from facility • Cannot be employed full-time, part-time, or PRN with CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facilities Facility: This medical center is a Level 1 trauma facility that provides comprehensive acute care services with advanced cardiac and surgical capabilities.
