Weld Technician Or Hands-On EngineerWe are seeking a Weld Technician or hands-on Engineer with experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably in plastics or thermoplastics environments. This is not a metals welding role. Key Responsibilities:Perform and interpret welding analysis methods, including:Cross-sectionsBreak-apart analysisTool fit evaluationInterface analysisMachine parameter tuningOperate and support plastic welding processes including:Mirror weldingHot gas weldingLaser weldingHot plate weldingInfrared methods (Gas, Foil, Flexible Tubular Heaters, IR Lamps)Assist with vibration welding methods (a plus, not required).Required Skills & Certifications:Welding analysis methodsMirror weld and/or hot gas weldingLaser weldingPlastics weldingVibration welding (preferred)Additional Information:This position requires prior experience in plastic or thermoplastic welding.Relocation assistance is available as a lump sum bonus on the first day of work.
