This is not a research only role or a prompt engineering position. They're looking for a Lead AI Engineer to help shape and scale production AI products from the ground up.You'll be working closely with leadership and engineering teams to build and deploy agentic AI systems, improve reasoning and evaluation frameworks, and help define the long term technical direction of the platform.This is a high ownership environment with strong engineering standards, fast iteration cycles, and the chance to have genuine influence over product and architecture decisions.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and build production grade AI systems and workflowsWork across LLMs, retrieval systems, evaluation pipelines, and multi step reasoningImprove model reliability, scalability, observability, and performance in productionCollaborate closely with product, engineering, and leadership teamsHelp shape technical strategy and mentor other engineers as the team scalesBuild systems that solve real operational and business problems, not just prototypesWhat We're Looking ForStrong experience building and shipping AI products in production environmentsHands on engineering background with Python and modern AI toolingExperience with LLMs, agentic workflows, retrieval systems, or evaluation frameworksAbility to operate in fast paced startup environments with high ownershipStrong communication skills and a pragmatic approach to problem solvingPrevious experience at high growth startups or leading AI companies is highly desirable
