Project Control Manager

We are seeking an experienced Project Controls Manager to support large-scale capital projects within the utility sector. This role will play a critical part in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with effective risk management.Key ResponsibilitiesLead project controls functions across scheduling, cost management, and risk analysisDevelop and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring alignment with project milestones and deliverablesMonitor project costs, forecasts, and budgets; identify variances and recommend corrective actionsImplement and manage risk identification, assessment, and mitigation strategiesPartner with project managers, engineering teams, and stakeholders to drive project performancePrepare and present project status reports, KPIs, and executive-level updatesSupport continuous improvement of project controls processes and toolsQualifications10+ years of project controls experience supporting capital projects- 4+ years of experience as a project control managerBackground in utilities required (power generation, transmission & distribution, or similar infrastructure)Strong experience in project scheduling, cost control, and risk managementProficiency with project controls tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar)Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, on-site environmentPreferredBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or related fieldExperience supporting large, complex utility or energy projectsPMP or related certification is a plus
