Automation Engineer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!The Role Maximize equipment reliability and operational performance in fulfillment centers Provide proactive controls automation and technical support Troubleshoot complex control systems and analyze performance metrics Drive continuous improvement initiatives and optimize material handling equipment (MHE) systems Implement innovative projects with state-of-the-art technology (conveyors, sortation systems, scanners, cameras, SCADA devices) Serve as the site expert for maintaining automation systems critical for operationsWhat You'll Need Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or automation engineering, or 2+ years of PLC programming or automation engineering experience Experience with process or production environment related PLC-controlled automation and issue diagnosis Experience with robotics work cells, control systems, electrical theory, and automated equipment Proficiency in Ladder Logic and structured programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Codesys PLCs) Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and/or holidays Experience with HMI and control network components (maintenance, troubleshooting, programming, design) is a plusWhat's On Offer Comprehensive healthcare benefits starting on Day 1 Matching 401(k) program Up to 20 weeks of paid parental leave Lightweight fire-resistant daily wear and composite toe safety shoesApply via Haystack today!
