Nursing Care Facilities (Skilled Nursing Facilities)Offices of PhysiciansBusiness Schools and Computer and Management TrainingSupport Activities for Animal ProductionSpecialty (except Psychiatric and Substance Abuse) HospitalsJob Summary:The Improvement Advisor assists in supporting the quality, safety and service initiatives and goals of the organization, department, and service lines.Continuous Quality Improvement and Change Management methodology is utilized in managing process design, data collection, analysis and reporting outcomes.The Improvement Advisor works closely with internal and external customers including but not limited to hospital administration, department directors and managers, members of the medical staff, and other healthcare providers, as well as outside vendors.The Improvement Advisor serve as improvement team facilitators using skills and tools to drive change and assist in sustaining improvement through appropriate data collection and analysis.Key Requirements:4 year/Bachelor's Degree.3 - 5 years of experience.Improved quality care in acute setting.Preferred Certification:Lean Six Sigma (green or black)CPHQ (Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality).
