In this role, you will set up, operate, and maintain automated cut/strip/crimp equipment while ensuring products meet exact specifications, tolerances, and customer requirements.If you enjoy working with advanced machinery, solving technical challenges, and taking ownership of quality from start to finish, this opportunity offers meaningful impact every day.ResponsibilitiesMachine Operation & ProductionSet up cut/strip/crimp machines according to process sheetsOperate multiple machines simultaneouslyExchange blades, rollers, and guide tubes based on wire specificationsPerform advanced machine maintenance and preventive maintenance (PM)Clean equipment before, during, and after production runsMinimize scrap through efficient operation and in-process quality checksCount, bundle, and document cut wires and lot numbersSort and remove defective partsRotate between machines as needed throughout production schedulesSupport and inspect work completed by Level I & II operatorsTroubleshoot machine and applicator issuesQuality AssuranceInspect products to IPC standardsRead and interpret customer prints, schematics, and drawingsAccurately enter job and production data into ERP systemsSafety & Workplace StandardsFollow all company safety policies and proceduresIdentify and report safety concernsMaintain a clean and organized workstation and production areaPerform additional duties as assignedQualificationsRequired:High school diploma or equivalentMinimum 2 years of machine operation experienceStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsAbility to read SOPs, safety procedures, manuals, blueprints, and technical drawingsSolid math skills including measurements, fractions, and calculationsExperience using rulers, tape measures, calipers, micrometers, and microscopesComfortable using computers and ERP systemsAbility to follow written and verbal instructions and work collaborativelyPreferred:Experience in ISO 9001 and/or ISO 13485 environmentsLean manufacturing and continuous improvement experienceKnowledge of wire harness and connector manufacturingHands-on experience with automated equipment such as Komax, Kodera, Schluniger, or similar equipment4+ years of machine setup and operation experiencePhysical RequirementsHigh level of manual dexterity and ability to perform repetitive tasksAbility to sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel, and move throughout shiftLift up to 20 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionallyStrong close vision, depth perception, and color recognition abilitiesComfortable working in moderate noise environmentsReady to Help Build the Future of Electronics Manufacturing?Apply today and take the next step in your Machine Operator career with PDS Tech CommercialPDS Tech Commercial is an Equal Opportunity Employer.Pay Details: $22.50 per hourBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
