Title: Informatica Data EngineerLocation: Austin Texas 78701 - HybridEngagement Type: Full-time long-term contract, with renewal potential through 2030Pay Rate: $70/hr, W2Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, with occasional evening/weekend/holiday work by advance requestWork Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time, ongoing basis without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future.Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check upon hireAbout the RoleWe're looking for an Informatica Data Engineer to join a long-term, contract supporting a Texas state government client.In this role, you'll design and build data pipelines using Informatica Cloud (IICS), move data from Oracle databases into Snowflake, and help shape how a growing Snowflake data warehouse is structured and used for reporting.What You'll DoBuild ETL/ELT data mappings and workflows in Informatica Cloud Data IntegrationDesign and build Informatica Mass Ingestion pipelines for high-volume data loadsConnect Oracle databases as data sources and build reliable, high-performing pipelines into SnowflakeDesign Snowflake data lake and data warehouse structures, including dimensional modeling (facts and dimensions)Build and maintain Change Data Capture (CDC) processes for ongoing bulk data movementApply Informatica push-down optimization techniques to improve pipeline performanceWrite clean, efficient Snowflake SQLCreate clear technical documentation for pipelines and interfaces on a multi-phase, multi-release projectReview teammates' work, troubleshoot issues, and help the team meet tight deadlinesPromote code from development environments to productionUse GitHub (or an equivalent) for version controlWhat You Bring5+ years writing advanced SQL and performing hands-on data analysis6+ years working with Informatica products, including 4+ years specifically in Informatica Cloud Data Integration (IICS)5+ years translating business requirements into data mappings and pipeline designs4+ years in relational database design, including direct Oracle experience3+ years with data warehouse architecture, including Facts/Dimensions modeling3+ years building static mappings and CDC processes for bulk data movement2+ years with Informatica Mass Ingestion2+ years creating, managing, and optimizing Snowflake databases, including time travel and related featuresNice to haveExposure to Snowpark, Python, or supporting Data Scientist workflows against SnowflakeGTS Technology Solutions, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
