Surgery - General Physician

ATC West Healthcare Services is hiring a full-time General Surgeon (MD/DO) to join a collaborative surgical team. The physician will provide inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and wound care services within a community hospital environment. The role includes performing a variety of general surgical procedures and participating in a shared on-call rotation. Required Skills & Qualifications Education & TrainingMD or DO from an accredited medical schoolCompletion of an ACGME-accredited General Surgery residency programCertifications & LicensureBoard Certified or Board Eligible in General SurgeryActive Vermont medical licenseDEA certification (must be obtained before start)BLS / CPR for Healthcare ProvidersExperience & CompetenciesProficiency in general surgical techniques and proceduresAbility to perform laparoscopic and endoscopic proceduresExperience managing adolescent, adult, and geriatric patientsAdditional RequirementsClean malpractice historyMost recent NPDB Self-Query report (within 30 days)Local candidates preferred
