Registered Behavior Tech

Job Purpose: To create an inclusive environment for the children enrolled in our program who are diagnosed with autism, ensuring they receive the support and guidance needed to thrive. Key Responsibilities: Work 1:1 with children on the autism spectrum, providing individualized support and interventions. Implement applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques to encourage positive behavior and learning. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and modify individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each child's needs. Monitor and document each child's progress, adjusting strategies as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes. Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers, providing updates on progress and strategies to support learning at home. Maintain a safe and nurturing environment that fosters growth and development. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in behavior analysis and autism support. Required Education: RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) certificate Required Experience: Experience working 1:1 with children on the autism spectrum Experience in creating an inclusive environment for children diagnosed with autism Preferred Experience: 1 year of experience in a similar role Required Skills and Abilities: Patience and understanding when working with children Experience and/or training in applied behavior analysis (ABA)
