The Opportunity Seeking Hospitalist physician assistants and nurse practitioners.Current national certification, DEA, ACLS, BLS and PALS are required.Previous hospitalist/inpatient experience is highly preferred.Current MI state license is a plus.Candidates wanting to work in an academic setting with current residents desired.Providers will be cross credentialed at the following sites: Sparrow Carson Hospital, Sparrow Clinton Hospital, Sparrow Eaton Hospital, Sparrow Ionia Hospital, and Sparrow Specialty Hospital (LTAC). The Practice - A Multi-Site System Sparrow Eaton Hospital - Charlotte, Michigan Sparrow Carson Hospital - Carson City, Michigan Sparrow Clinton Hospital - St. Johns, Michigan Sparrow Ionia Hospital - Ionia, Michigan Sparrow Specialty Hospital (LTAC) - Lansing, Michigan Sparrow Hospital - Lansing, Michigan Only Level One Trauma Center and largest hospital in the region.Stroke Center of Excellence and Chest Pain Center.733-bed facility with 45 closed-ICU beds.An average of 15 day admits and an average of 1-2 night admits.No procedures required; codes handled by ICU, RRT coverage.Vent management required.On-site lab and imaging.
