About The RoleThe Manufacturing Training Program Manager oversees and maintains the daily processes for the Manufacturing Training Team. They provide daily task planning guidance for the team and summarize the team’s daily completion results for the manufacturing leadership team. They work with cross-functional manufacturing and leadership teams to meet and exceed customer training expectations.We are seeking candidates with manufacturing and training experience in the areas of Rack Build, Server Build, Warehouse & Safety, or Manufacturing Test.What You’ll DoTrainingEnsure that training and certification standards are uniformly appliedComplete new-hire personnel onboarding trainingComplete hands-on and classroom-based trainingComplete post-training follow-upsConduct retraining and recertification trainingDaily Task PlanningGuide and coordinate the certification and recertification training sessionsTrack and communicate all certification and training requests from leadership and assign task owners for the requestsLeading PeopleObserve on-the-job training and provide feedback when requiredCreate task completion targets and work with the training team to ensure that the targets are reachedDevelop training completion targets with manufacturing leadership and plan, prioritize, assign, and communicate the targets with the training team.ReportsConduct certification training gap assessments and create and share reports with manufacturing leadershipCreate certification summary reports to share with upper manufacturing managementContinuous ImprovementShare feedback for certification programs, training, process, and quality improvementsWhat You BringBachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience2+ years of related training experienceOutstanding interpersonal communication skillsAbility to prioritize workload and multi-taskAbility to lead, guide, and ensure the continuous improvement of the training programAbility to work across manufacturing, engineering, and other support teamsAbility to communicate verbally and in writing to all levels of personnelProficiency in MS Office suite, including Outlook and ExcelExperience working in a manufacturing or warehousing environment is beneficial but not requiredAbout ZT SystemsAt ZT Systems, a Sanmina Company, you’ll get to do work you are proud of alongside smart, passionate people.
