Technical Solutions Engineer

About The RoleEAE USA is looking for an experienced technical solution engineer to support customers, system integrators, contractors, and field teams on electrical and data center projects. This role helps connect customer needs with internal team ensure projects move smoothly from design revise through installation and commissioningThis position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving technical problems, working directly with electrical and general contractors and site engineers and willing to travel 50-70% of the time.Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer and Field Support Build strong relationships with customers, system integrators, contractors, consultants, and end usersVisit customer offices, and project sites to review requirements, answer technical questions, and support installation readinessAct as a key technical contact during project execution, commissioning, troubleshooting, and field validationPrepare clear site visit notes, technical summaries, and corrective action recommendationsTechnical Support and Internal Collaboration Review drawings, single-line diagrams, layout, specifications and equipment selectionsProvide application guidance for electrical distribution, switchgear, busbar systems, UPS interfaces, and power monitoring solutionsHelp resolve technical issues during design, procurement, installation, commissioning and post-installation supportIdentify recurring field challenges and recommend improvements to products, documentation, or processesCollaboration with internal engineering team, project execution and application engineersShare customer feedback, field challenges, lessons learned, and improvement opportunitiesMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction or a related field2+ years of experience in Application Engineering, Field Service Engineering, data center technical support, or a similar customer-facing technical roleAbility to travel approximately 50% throughout North AmericaStrong troubleshooting, communication, presentation, and customer relationship skillsAbility to read electrical drawings, schematics, single-line diagrams, specifications, and installation documentsValid driver’s license and ability to travel independentlyPreferred QualificationsExperience with data center infrastructure, mission-critical facilities or electrical distribution projectsKnowledge of low-voltage distribution, busbar systems, switchgear, or power monitoring systemsExperience supporting system integrators, EPCs, contractors, consultants, or large enterprise customersCommissioning, startup, troubleshooting, or field validation experienceExperience using CRM, Project management, technical reporting, Revit, SAP, CAD tools
