If you are a Professional Engineer that aligns with our values, we would love for you to continue reading and apply.What You Will Do:Lead design and coordination of roadway, drainage, and utility projects for our public and private clientsCollaborate with other groups/ disciplines within the company to deliver top quality projects and unparalleled service to our clientsPerform design calculations, quantity and cost estimates, and plan preparationCompile, write, and edit quality technical reports, feasibility reports, letters, memos and specifications for projectsAssist with proposals, project budgets and schedules, planning activities, and public involvement and other presentation opportunitiesOversee and manage the work of EITs or TechniciansProvide guidance and training to EITsReview design plans prepared by internal staff and/or subconsultantsPrepare meeting notes, project documentation andPlan, direct, and coordinate project activities to ensure that projects are delivered within prescribed time frames and budgetsRegular communication with the client, subconsultant and internal staff to meet project requirements and timeline What You Will Bring:Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or similar degree from an accredited school5-10 years of experience in Transportation / Municipal engineeringTX PE license or the ability to obtain their license within six monthsValid driver's license with a good driving recordPrepare, read and understand construction plans and technical documentsStrong experience with Open Roads ModelingExcellent communication skills and a strong work ethic will allow you to excel in this positionAbility to work 40 hours a weekAbility to work in McKinney, TXWork is primarily performed in an office environment with standard office equipment, occasional travel or field visits may be required to supportWho We Are:WSB is a design and consulting firm specializing in Transportation, Community Planning, Environmental, Energy, Municipal, and Construction services.
