We provide safe, enriching programs that promote academic success, good character, and healthy lifestyles.Position SummaryThe Youth Development Professional leads daily after-school programs and activities for youth ages 5-18. You'll bring creativity, structure, and energy to support kids in academics, recreation, arts, and leadership - making every Club Day fun, engaging, and safe.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and supervise engaging programs and activities.Facilitate lesson plans that support academic and personal growth.Encourage participation and positive behavior among members.Supervise youth tomaintaina safe, inclusive environment.Support Club events, field trips, and family nights.Collaborate with staff, families, and volunteers.QualificationsMustbe at least 18 years old.High school diploma or GEDrequired.1+yearof experience working with youth preferred.Strong communicationand teamwork skills.Must pass backgroundcheck.CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).Equal Opportunity EmployerBoys & Girls Club of Lake County is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity in our workplace.
