Job Description Field Service Technician – Packaging Equipment (CST & EST Candidates Only) $30–$37/hr | Contract-to-Hire 90% Regional TravelA global leader in industrial packaging and processing equipment is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to support customers throughout the Eastern U.S. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong electrical and controls troubleshooting experience who enjoys travel, customer interaction, and hands-on technical work.This role focuses on installing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and servicing industrial packaging equipment at customer sites throughout the East Coast region.ResponsibilitiesInstall, troubleshoot, repair, and commission packaging equipment at customer locationsPerform electrical and controls troubleshooting on automated machineryWork with Allen Bradley PLC systems, including Studio 5000 and PanelViewSupport equipment startups and customer trainingRead electrical schematics and diagnose motors, VFDs, sensors, and controls systemsTravel throughout the Eastern U.S. to support customers onsiteQualificationsExperience working on packaging equipment such as:Valve baggersFFS (Form-Fill-Seal)VFFS (Vertical Form-Fill-Seal)Hands-on Allen Bradley Studio 5000 experience requiredStrong field service background supporting equipment at customer sitesElectrical troubleshooting experienceComfortable with 90% travelMust reside within CST or EST time zonesStable work history preferredWhat's OfferedRegional travel throughout the East CoastContract-to-hire opportunity with long-term potentialOpportunity to join a well-established global manufacturerCompetitive pay and career growthIf you have experience supporting industrial packaging equipment and enjoy a fast-paced field service environment, we'd love to hear from you.
