Buyer / Planner (Supply Chain – MRO Focus)
🔧 Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Buyer / Planner with a strong background in supply chain operations. This role is a hybrid position with approximately 75% buying and 25% planning responsibilities, focusing on supplier management, purchase order execution, and MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) support.🛠 Key Responsibilities🛒 Buying (75%)Create and manage Purchase Orders (POs)Execute order placement and tracking with suppliersExpedite orders to ensure on-time deliveryMaintain accurate PO confirmations and delivery datesManage supplier communication and performance📊 Planning (25%)Support material planning and demand alignmentMonitor inventory levels and ensure material availabilityCoordinate with internal teams on supply requirementsAssist in resolving supply chain disruptions🔩 MRO SupportHandle procurement of MRO (Maintenance, Repair, Operations) itemsEnsure availability of critical materials for operationsMaintain supplier relationships for MRO categories✅ Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field5+ years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, or planningStrong experience in:Purchase order managementSupplier coordination & expeditingInventory & material planningExperience handling MRO items procurementProficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and stakeholder management⭐ Preferred SkillsExperience in manufacturing or industrial environmentKnowledge of supply chain KPIs and reportingFamiliarity with contract and vendor negotiations🎯 Key CompetenciesDetail-oriented with strong follow-up skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong collaboration across cross-functional teams
