Our clients include world leaders in industries spanning entertainment, broadcast, medical, professional audio/video, house of worship, education, government, military, and transportation sectors.Job SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Control Inspector focused on Video & Audio systems. This hands-on role is critical in ensuring the quality and reliability of our Pro AV products, directly contributing to our reputation for excellence. The QC Technician will work closely with the Engineering and Production Departments to verify product integrity and ensure adherence to specifications before release and shipment. A key responsibility of this role is the inspection of incoming raw materials using industry-standard tools. This is NOT a remote or hybrid position.Key ResponsibilitiesRead and interpret basic engineering drawings for mechanical components and cable assemblies to verify compliance with specificationsPerform receiving inspection and/or product-level inspection to determine material conformanceUse basic measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, microscopes, etc.) to verify dimensional and visual requirementsPerform inspection of electronic assemblies and cable assemblies for workmanship and labeling accuracyIdentify and document nonconforming materialProcess nonconformance records in QT9, including data entry and supporting documentationMaintain accurate inspection records and ensure proper material status identificationCommunicate inspection findings to QC Manager and internal departments as requiredAssist with sorting, rework verification, and containment activities when neededSupport organization and maintenance of inspection areas and documentationOther duties as assignedEducation & ExperienceHigh School Diploma or GED requiredMinimum 2 years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferredBasic understanding of electronic or electro-mechanical assemblies is a plusExperience working within a documented quality system (ISO 9001 preferred)Familiarity with inspection tools and measuring equipmentExperience entering data into ERP or quality management systems is a plusSkills & AbilitiesStrong attention to detail and disciplined inspection habitsAbility to follow written procedures and work instructions accuratelyComfortable inspecting small components and assemblies under magnificationAbility to stand, sit, and move between inspection stations for extended periodsBasic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft OfficeClear verbal communication skillsAbility to write concise and legible inspection notesReliable attendance and punctualityWillingness to ask questions when requirements are unclearAbility to work independently once trainedBenefitsMedical, vision and dental insurance401(k) with company match (100% of the first 4% in eligible compensation)Flexible Spending Account 2 weeks paid vacation1 Week sick pay10 company holidaysGroup life insuranceSalary RangeHourly: $26 - $34Pay may vary depending on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors.Powered by JazzHRKhihdqu1aP
