Database Engineer

A 14-year-old Health-Tech SAAS company in Scottsdale, Arizona areas is seeking an experienced T-SQL Database Developer. **MUST BE AUTHORIZED to work in the US**Looking for Local Candidates only.Database Engineer DutiesUnderstand complex business requirements, and how to fulfill those requirements utilizing various datasets within a health care database.Troubleshoot errors and analyzing performance bottlenecks using native MSSQL tools.Use SSIS for data imports from multiple data sources including text files, Excel, and XML, and using SSIS package deployment methodology.Use SSIS script tasks, and script component tasks.Database Engineer RequirementsBachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or relevant course.5-7 Experience as T-SQL Database Developer using MSSQL 2014-2016Experience writing and troubleshooting advanced T-SQL queriesAbility to access very large datasets in a way that is both thorough and performant.Ability to break down data access, manipulation, and presentation logic for both reporting and ETL processes.Health care experience is a huge plus, particularly with an emphasis on interoperability standards such as FHIR resources, QRDAs, CCDs, and quality measurement standards such as GPRO, HEDIS, and MIPS.An ability to understand front-end user requirements and a problem-solving attitude.Candidate will need to work 2-3 days a month in office.
