With a true "Growth Mindset," Ashley Furniture invests in developing future leaders and helps every team member learn from the best in the business.If you are a current Ashley employeePlease login to your UKG account and apply using the internal job board.Summary:The ADS Breakdown Coordinator is responsible for coordinating on-the-road equipment breakdowns, arranging repairs with vendors, managing rental equipment as needed, and working with drivers to ensure proper internal follow-up on equipment maintenance.Responsibilities:Driver Support & CommunicationAnswer calls from drivers experiencing equipment maintenance issuesAssist and educate drivers on breakdown procedures and next stepsGuide drivers through the breakdown process efficientlyVendor & Equipment CoordinationContact vendors to schedule equipment repairs at nearest available facilitiesArrange towing services when requiredCoordinate rental equipment to minimize operational disruptionsLine up appropriate vendors for proper repair workAdministrative & Financial OversightAudit invoices for accurate billingUpdate warranty fields in systems as applicableMaintain accurate records of breakdown incidents and repairsSecondary ResponsibilitiesMaintain reliable attendanceActively participate in departmental meetings, training, and education sessionsAssist with training other employees and provide backup support as neededComplete other assignments and special projects as requestedQualifications required:High School Diploma required; or equivalentMinimum 2 years administrative experience, preferredWork Environment:This position is located in an active industrial manufacturing and distribution center with moderate to high noise levels, temperature variations, and material handling equipment in operation. The role may require extended periods of standing or walking on concrete floors and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses and steel-toed boots.
