Shipping Clerk (Weekend Shift)

This ideal candidate must be detail oriented and self-motivated with the ability to visually verify accuracy of shipments, pack or unpack merchandise in and out of boxes, in addition to load and unload merchandise from trailers. Additionally, this individual must ensure all shipments receive the proper labeling and are packaged to arrive safely. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Verify quality and accuracy of shipments. Sort files and match tickets to distribution store labels. Maintain a filing system of department records. Assist other operators and associates as necessary. Ability to communicate effectively in person and via email. Organize shipments in a timely manner while ensuring accuracy. JOB REQUIREMENTS - High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience. At least 18 years of age. Preferred experience in shipping, receiving, and/or inventory control. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook are highly preferred.
