PL Developments, also known as PLD, is a leading manufacturer, packager, and distributor of over-the-counter (OTC) pharmaceutical products and consumer healthcare goods.SummaryThe Dispensing/Blending Operator supports solid dose manufacturing by operating and cleaning equipment, weighing and verifying raw materials, and maintaining accurate documentation. Responsibilities include transporting materials, performing equipment setup and changeovers, and adhering to cGMP and safety protocols. Requires a high school diploma, 5–7 years of experience, basic math skills, and English proficiency. Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. and work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to dust and moderate noise.Working Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 4:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m (OT as needed)Job QualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalent5-7 years’ experience as solid dose Manufacturing OperatorDemonstrated proficiency in the English Language, both written and oralProficiency in basic math (addition, subtraction and division)Adhere to pre-established manufacturing schedule and company policiesPosition ResponsibilitiesOperate and clean manufacturing dispensing & blending equipment according to SOP’s or WI’sTransport bulk raw material from the warehouse / staging to the manufacturing areaVerify all bulk raw materials for accuracy and quantities receivedWeight individual raw materials per batch record requirements and standard operating procedures / work instructionsDocument all weights verified in the manufacturing batch recordPerform changeover and set-up of designated manufacturing equipmentPractice Good Manufacturing procedure as per cGMP trainingAssist manufacturing supervisor in the collection and summarization of in-process and Q.C. DataFollow procedures described in SOP’s and WI’sFacilitate and cooperate with any Continuous Improvement ProgramPerform other duties as assigned by supervisor/ managerPhysical RequirementsWork safely and adhere to all OSHA regulations as well as company safety policies and proceduresWork in a manufacturing environmentExposure to vitamins, mineral, herbal, and OTC products; No allergiesRequired to wear appropriate safety equipment, PAPR apparatusFrequent exposure to moderate noise levelsFrequent exposure to dust, fumes, and disagreeable odorsLift up to 50 pounds on regular basis.
