As the only independent, nationally accredited farrier school in the United States, KHS is also uniquely authorized to participate in the Federal Student Loan Program. Role Description The Admission Officer will manage and support admissions processes for prospective students, including handling inquiries, assisting with applications, and maintaining accurate records. Duties include evaluating eligibility for admission, supporting international student admissions, and providing outstanding customer service to prospective students and families. The Admission Officer will also conduct follow-ups, provide necessary information about KHS programs, and assist with administrative tasks as needed. This is a contract, hybrid role based in Richmond, KY, with some remote work flexibility. Qualifications Strong Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities for building relationships with prospective students and families.Experience in International Admissions and a general understanding of the admissions process in higher education.Proficiency in Customer Service and a demonstrated ability to ensure a positive experience for prospective students.Experience or background in Education, particularly in admissions or student services, is a plus.Detail-oriented and organized with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.Familiarity with CRM systems or database management tools is an advantage.Bachelor’s degree in a related field is strongly preferred.
