This role assists in participating in engineering projects, preparing technical documents, coordinating cross-functional tasks, troubleshooting process issues, and ensuring manufacturing operations meet quality, safety, and efficiency standards. The position is ideal for a student or early-career engineer looking to gain experience in process engineering, validations, projects, and continuous improvement. This role is an in-person position and will require the ability to travel to and from Pearland, TX. Responsibilities & DutiesWork closely with Production, Quality, R&D, Supply Chain, and EH&S teams to support operations.Participate in engineering projects related to troubleshooting, process improvements, cost reduction, manufacturing scalability, and quality enhancement.Help prepare project plans, timelines, and status updates.Track action items, risks, issues, and opportunities within assigned projects.Participate in problem-solving activities using tools such as 5 Why, Fishbone, FMEA, and CAPA.Assist with the development, documentation, and optimization of manufacturing processes.Perform time studies, process mapping, and workflow evaluations.Maintain and update work instructions, SOPs, and process documentation.Support equipment and process validations, including IQ/OQ/PQ activities.Assist in implementing verification and validation plans for new or updated equipment.Identify opportunities to reduce scrap, improve efficiency, and increase process capability.Support 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and standard work initiatives within the production environment.Education/ExperienceStudent classified as a Junior or Senior working towards a BS or MS degree in an Engineering discipline.Mechanical design experience from academic projects or previous internship a plus. SolidWorks experience a plus. 3D printing experience a plus. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Demonstrated ability to multitask and work in a fast–paced setting.Strong problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
