The ideal candidate has deep hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Cloud and a proven track record of improving accounting processes and reporting in a fast-paced environment. acquisitions..Essential FunctionsLead process improvement initiatives focused on accounting systems and financial processes, with heavy emphasis on SAP S/4HANA CloudAnalyze, design, and optimize end-to-end accounting processes (record-to-report, procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, etc.) within the SAP ecosystemDrive the integration of accounting systems with SAP S/4HANA Cloud, including configuration support, data migration, and system enhancementsIdentify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in current accounting workflows and implement Lean, Six Sigma, and SAP best practices to improve efficiency and accuracyPartner with Operations teams to enhance accounting reporting, including automated dashboards, real-time reporting, and streamlined month-end close processesDevelop and maintain process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and key performance indicators (KPIs) related to accounting systemsFacilitate cross-functional workshops with Finance, Operations, and IT to map current processes and design future-state SAP-enabled processesUtilize SAP modules (FI, CO, and integration with MM/SD) to drive automation, standardization, and continuous improvementMonitor post-implementation performance and continuously refine accounting processes to ensure sustained improvements and complianceLead root cause analysis for accounting and reporting issues and implement corrective and preventive actionsManage a portfolio of SAP-related process improvement projects, delivering on time with measurable ROISupport change management to drive successful adoption of new SAP processes and reporting toolsCollaborate with external consultants to review and evaluate process improvement recommendationsWork with internal process owners across the company to manage and execute the implementation of recommended action plansExperience/EducationBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree or CPA preferred)6+ years of experience in process improvement, with at least 4+ years of hands-on experience working with SAP S/4HANA Cloud (or SAP ECC with strong S/4HANA migration experience)Extensive practical experience configuring, optimizing, and integrating accounting processes within SAP S/4HANA CloudProven expertise in SAP FI (Financial Accounting), CO (Controlling), and integration with relevant modulesStrong background improving accounting processes (month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations) and enhancing reporting capabilitiesCertified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt (highly preferred)Demonstrated success leading SAP-enabled process improvement projects with measurable financial and operational impactProficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI, advanced Excel)Experience with process mapping tools and SAP project toolsKey Skills and QualificationsExceptional communicator – direct and transparent, skilled problem-solver with proven success in building coalitions and avoiding conflictsTotal ownership mentality – proactively identifies and removes obstacles across numerous ongoing tasksIndependent thinker – provides original thoughts and constantly asking "how can we do this better"Innovative thinker – willingness to consider novel solutions and ability to adapt to changeDesirable teammate – impeccable character, humility, and collaborativeRelentless – aspires to contribute and achieve his/her full potentialOur CREATORS CultureAt Solaris, we believe that staying true to our core beliefs improves our decision-making, productivity and is key to our individual and collective achievements.
