Distributed Systems Software Engineer - WarpStream

Overview As a Senior Engineer on WarpStream, you will own end-to-end delivery of a Kafka-compatible, cloud-native data streaming platform built on object storage. You’ll work across the stack—from storage engine and control plane scalability to new features like transactions and multi-region clusters, and even contribute to the developer console UI. You’ll collaborate in a small, distributed team to solve complex distributed systems problems at scale, across multiple clouds, while maintaining reliability and performance. This role offers hands-on impact, a strong sense of ownership, and the chance to shape a high-availability data platform.
